Work Experience Program

- The Work Experience Programme is designed to give candidates a strong foundation of Business English skills and practical work experience in an English speaking environment
- Requirements: resume, good character, good health, Intermediate level of English (minimum) at the time of programme commencement
- Participants must study for a minimum of 4 weeks at Unique New Zealand (full-time) before beginning the Work Experience Programme
- The Work Experience Programme begins on the first Monday of each month and lasts for 4 weeks. Participants study Business English (BE) in the mornings and perform practical work, develop work skills and undergo mentoring and assessment in the afternoons
- Participants gain work experience of marketing, educational administration, tourism, activity planning and management, office administration and computer systems administration
- Students who complete successfully the programme will receive a certificate and letter of reference.

Notes
- The Work Experience Programme begins on the first Monday of each month and lasts for 4 weeks
- Students must study General English or English for Academic Purposes for a minimum period of 4 weeks before they can join the Work Experience Programme
- Minimum English Language Level is Intermediate at time of entry into Work Experience Programme
- Students must complete the course (submit portfolio, pass interview, complete practical work experience units) in order to graduate, receive certificate and letter of recommendation
- All work experience is conducted on Unique New Zealand premises under the supervision of the Course Co-ordinator and Unique New Zealand Management
